Developer InterFrame Studio and publisher Gamera Games announced Room 301 NO.6, a narrative puzzle game focuses on Alzheimer’s disease, will launches on Steam on September 21th, World Alzheimer’s Day 2022.
By the statistics, there are about 50 million Alzheimer’s patients in the world with an average of one new case every 3 seconds. InterFrame Studio, a student team from Communication University of China want to arouse public concern on the disease by making the game as their graduation work.
The developer uses degraded feedback to simulate the slow fumbling lifestyle of the aged in their daily lives, along with the design of split-screen and maze to present the mental world and the actual physical world under the cognition of AD’s patients.
In the game you will play as an elderly Alzheimer’s patient, find and pack up various things with memories during daytime, record memories in the diary by the end of the day. Through the process you will have a glimpse of the precious moments of the patient’s life, learn the stories happened in this family.
