MinMax Games and Hooded Horse are pleased to announce that highland-themed colony sim Clanfolk has just received its eighth major update since launching into Steam Early Access in July.
From peat bogs and new bagpipe and harp instruments, to stylish new trimming for flooring that the lead developer insists is “super sexy”, Clanfolk’s highland fantasy is that much closer to being realised in the appropiately named ‘Bogs and Bagpipes’ update.
You can read the full changelog here, with further highlights including:
- 31 new historic clans
- New heather and thistle fields
- Plenty of new craftable of items
- A upgraded instrument system
- New advice and reminders for different seasons
- A ‘smart harvest’ feature
- Plenty of other tweaks and quality of life fixes
From today, Clanfolk is also featured on Steam’s frontpage as part of a Weekend Deal event, and will be available to purchase at a 20% discount for the first time. The press kit is available here.
